We’re obsessed with this yarn! It was created with the collaboration of Yan Schenkel, the author of the book Animal Friends of Pica Pau and Animal Friends of Pica Pau 2, and it is made out of 100% premium combed cotton that makes a super soft yarn ideal for sensitive skin. The yarn is also available in fingering. It has a matte finish and comes in a unique color palette based on the colors that Yan uses in her designs.
We enjoy knitting and crocheting with this yarn -- the fiber barely stretches while knitting so the work keeps its form. It also has a great stitch definition so it is ideal for patterns with fun and more complex stitches. We have been knitting toys, blankets, baby clothes and homeware with it and can’t wait to start our new projects!
